G.A. Murdock, Inc. was founded in 1987. Its goal
is to provide high quality Fluid Valves, Fittings, and other Point
of Use (POU) / Point of Entry (POE) accessories for the Water
Treatment Industry. G.A. Murdock, Inc. also services the Office
Coffee Service, Appliance, Dialysis, Photo Processing, Beverage,
and many other industries.
Gene and Brian Appelwick formed G.A. Murdock, Inc. as a solution to the
problems they experienced in the retail water conditioning business. Using
their retail dealership experiences and customer input, the company continually
produces new products. They strive to provide innovative, high quality
solutions to solve common problems.
G.A. Murdock, Inc.'s beginning came with the patent of the Mur-lok RO Pal®. The
RO Pal® was designed to replace Piercing/Saddle Valves, which have been made
illegal in most plumbing codes. In the installation of Drinking Water System
and other POU equipment piercing/saddle valves commonly leak. The RO Pal®
resolves this problem by using plastic compression technology while
incorporating a ball valve for a positive water shutoff.
In a continual effort to improve quality G.A. Murdock, Inc. began manufacturing
ball valves in 1994. Using the finest materials available, along with stringent
quality control standards, G.A. Murdock, Inc. produces the industry's most
reliable ball valves. The company now manufactures well over one hundred PVC
Ball Valve versions. In addition to ball valves, the company manufactures many
other plastic products aiding in the installation of POU/POE.
Professional Associations
G.A. Murdock, Inc. has been a member of the Water Quality Association (WQA) since 1992.
The Water Quality Association is a not-for-profit international trade association representing the household, commercial, industrial, and small community water treatment industry.
WQA maintains a close dialogue with other organizations representing different aspects of the water industry in order to best serve consumers, government officials, and industry members.
